This Privacy Policy describes how Inomo Studio (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use the Hero Me mobile application (the “Service”).
We collect only the information needed to operate Hero Me and provide the features you choose to use.
1. Information We Collect
Hero Me does not require you to provide your name, email address, or password. When you use online character-generation features, Firebase creates an anonymous account identifier so that requests and generated files can be delivered securely to your device.
When you choose a photo to create a hero, Hero Me performs initial face and body checks on your device. The selected photo is then securely uploaded and processed through Firebase and the generative AI services of OpenAI and Google to create your character. We may also process limited generation information such as request identifiers, app language, and character names.
Your created heroes, games, progress, and settings are stored locally on your device. Hero Me does not currently provide cloud backup or cross-device synchronization for this content.
If you make a purchase, payment is processed by Apple or Google. We and RevenueCat receive limited purchase and entitlement information needed to provide the features you have purchased. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
Hero Me uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, which collect app usage events and crash diagnostics.
The Service is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
2. How We Use Your Information
The information we process is used only to:
- Create and deliver your generated hero
- Provide access to purchased features
- Operate and secure the Service
- Prevent misuse and process safety refusals
- Conduct limited quality review of generated results
- Understand how the app is used so we can improve it
- Diagnose crashes and fix problems
We process this information to provide the features you request, manage purchases, and protect the Service. Where consent is required, your photo is processed only after you choose to submit it for character generation.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data.
Photos, generated images, and related request information may be processed by OpenAI and by Google services that provide Firebase infrastructure and generative AI processing. App usage events and crash diagnostics are also processed by Google. Purchase and entitlement information may be processed by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat.
These providers receive only the information needed to perform their services and are required to protect it in accordance with applicable privacy requirements. They may process information in countries other than your own, subject to applicable safeguards.
4. Data Retention
Your source photo is deleted from our cloud systems as soon as character-generation processing finishes.
Cloud delivery copies of generated hero files are deleted after they are downloaded to your device. A protected copy of the generated character card may be retained for limited quality review for no longer than 30 days.
Generation job records and related technical information are retained for no longer than 30 days.
Heroes, games, progress, and settings stored on your device remain there until you delete them or remove the app.
5. Your Rights and Data Deletion
You can delete individual heroes and their related games in the app, and removing the app deletes everything stored on your device.
The photos and generated files described in section 4 are deleted automatically, without any request from you.
Depending on your country or region, you may also have rights of access, correction, deletion, objection, or withdrawal of consent. Contact us at support@inomostudio.com to exercise them.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to Hero Me, our data practices, or applicable requirements. If we make material changes, we will provide notice within the app or through another appropriate channel.
